Tsavo National Park lies between Nairobi and the coast and is divided by the Nairobi-Mombasa railway (of Maneaters of Tsavo fame). It is home to thousands of elephants, and large numbers of buffaloes, gazelles, giraffes, hippopotamuses, impalas, leopards, lions, black rhinoceroses, and warthogs, birds and other small animals. Amboseli is well known for its large elephant population and herds of zebra and impala grazing on the open plains. Views of Mt Kilimanjaro Africa’s largest mountain which lies just over the
border in Tanzania are second to none. Masai Mara is the most visited Game Park in south western Kenya, on Kenya’s southern border with Tanzania. The 2 million wilderbeest, and associated herds of around 200,000 zebra presents one of the most amazing wildlife spectacles in the world.
